12月5日，本系邀請政治大學選舉研究中心特聘研究員陳陸輝教授進行演講，講題為「兩岸關係與2024年總統選舉」。陳教授以「臺灣選舉與民主化調查」(TEDS)在 2024 年總統選舉之後的面訪資料，分析民眾對於兩岸關係的評價與看法如何影響其投票行為。他以深入淺出的方式，解釋了一篇嚴謹的研究如何進行隨機抽樣、概念界定以及數據分析，讓不懂量化研究的師生也能完整了解這篇研究的內容。演講反響熱烈，在場師生對此議題進行了熱烈討論。
